All human activity represents a risk, that is the generalized premise that we must all raise awareness. On many occasions, human groups or societies focus unequivocally on creating economic and social well-being. But we do not consider the risks inherent in the productive processes.
The risk according to the PMI defined in the PMBOK is an uncertain event or condition that, if it occurs, has a positive or negative effect on one or more project objectives such as scope, costs, planning or quality and that has its origin in uncertainty (PMI-2013).
As defined by the PMI, risks can generate positive or negative events or conditions. If they are positive, we must promote, improve and exploit them to take advantage of them according to the objectives of the project; but we must eliminate them, mitigate them or at least accept them if they are negative.
If the risks are accepted, we must provide a planned response according to the best practices.
In PROJECTS R&F USA complying with our “SECURITY PROGRAM”, developed according to OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS — REQUIREMENTS WITH GUIDANCE FOR USE, ISO 45001:2018 Standard, has established the guidelines for planning resources and organization for the management of emergencies and / or contingencies that may arise in the work areas, especially outside our base of operations.
In chapter 5.1 of our Safety Plan, it is established:
Leadership and Commitment
Item d) Provide the necessary resources to establish, implement, maintain and improve the SST Management System.
And in chapter 8.2:
Preparation and response before emergency.
The organization must establish, implement and maintain processes necessary to prepare and respond to emergency situations.
Item a) the establishment of a planned response to emergency situations, including the provision of first aid.
As well as in the document “TRAINING INSTRUCTION FOR THE DETECTION OF BURIED SERVICES”, Code: R&F-DEOP-OP-IT-01, the following considerations are taken into account:
